We opened our new store on July 23rd in Marunouchi, Tokyo -- Japan’s central gathering place of a wide array of companies and businesspeople.
Taking inspiration from the historical architecture of Marunouchi, we incorporated the red bricks and stones representative of this area into the store’s façade and interior. Most of the materials were procured from old buildings and reused at our store. The merging of Patagonia’s traditions cultivated throughout our 40 years with Marunouchi’s history and modern feel brought about a beautiful space that transcends time.
We’d like to extend our deepest appreciation to all those who supported us throughout this project! We hope you will visit the new Marunouchi Store if you have a chance to travel to Japan.
